It struck me, as I was watching chat, that there are many "inside" jokes & comments that the Founding Members of HAVOC share - some of which go waaaay back to s3! So i thought that it would be fun to share it with ALL our Family
PEOPLE:
Founding Members - Would love to give each & every 1 of them their own entry....but I don't want to make this the length of Steven King's latest novel. In no particular order: xARESx, SpikeStrip, Vermithrax, Enchantra, Greatwest, Sino, Maxximus, Engessa, Juma, Majestic, Dilligaff, KARZA, Fero, Cytaen, Tayet, Marnax, Salemer, Digger13, BDS, Ravenwing, NLxTeddy
Thrump - may be referred to as thrumpymess, mess, or messy. His original name on s79, where we met him, was Messwithmyhead. We thought he'd been lost to us, as he had disappeared from s79 - but then, as was fated, he came back to Evony & started on s132. Being the brilliant person that he is, he miraculously found Verm & Juma, & he was reunited with his s79 Family.
xARESx - may be referred to as DR, or Deathy (esp by Spikey). Ares name on s79, where we met him, was DEATHREAMER.
Engessa - may be referred to as bob, PPB (usually by Juma) or Bubba (ALWAYS by Spikey). His original name on s30, where we met him, was bobjay...also bobjoy....but that's another story.
Majestic - may be referred to as Matt, his original name on s79, where we met him.
Greatwest - may be referred to as gdub....a fairly obvious play on the initials GW
SpikeStrip - no ordinary 12 y/o; Incredibly bright, great singing voice & the virtual child of Juma & Verm; frequently known as Spikey (Note: dislikes pink headbands)
Juma - may be referred to as Momma (ONLY by Spikey).
Vermithrax- may be referred to as Vermy (ONLY by Spikey...& ocaasionally by Juma when talking TO Spikey ABOUT Verm)
THARN - To this date, the absolute BEST player in Evony that Juma, Verm, Maxx, Spikey & Engessa have had the pleasure to play with as an alliance mate. We miss him....
X - Xhaedn: To this date, the player with the best understanding of Evony battle mechanics we've met AND the ability to explain this knowledge so that even a math nitwit like Juma can understand.
THE ALLIANCES:
Dragon - alliance on s3, that still makes Juma & Maxx annoyed. Their 1st experience with going to war with a #1 ranked alliance...& holding them off for months.
Intrepid - The alliance founded by Maxx & Juma, on s30, where we met Verm, Spikey & Engessa.
Hero - The #4 ranked alliance on s30 that Intrepid brought to its knees
VANGUARD - The Top 20 alliance founded by Juma, Verm, Spikey & Engessa, where they met the other Founding Members of HAVOC. (Other VNGD plyrs that may be mentioned include: Jax, taco, gaborin & goborin for their ability [& insanity] in attacking.)
Deviants - #2 alliance on s79. An astonishing feat, considering their truly dismal understanding of how to launch attacks. The chosen targets of Verm & Juma in the "Blaze of Glory" campaign.
Templars - #9 alliance on s79. As stunning as it is to believe, an alliance with an even more pathetic grasp of battle mechanics than Deviants. The chosen targets of Sino & Enchantra in the "Blaze of Glory" campaign.
TERMS:
Teleploded - As in: "That attack was so stupid, it made my head teleplode." or "Can we teleplode them now?" Comes from a barely literate, hardly comprehensible mail received by Juma, in which the writer stated "my friend wuz here but wuz gettin attkd so he teleploded somewher else."
Shmoosh - To destroy & utterly obliterate. Comes from a plyr named Caeli on s79 & was quickly adopted as a term to refer to attacking a player. Also an excellent recruiting tactic: 1) Shmoosh, 2) Invite, 3) Return Resources (optional)
Family - Although I always refer to HAVOC as a Family, I had no idea it would end up being so close to literal truth. For the record, we have several members that are actually related. Cytaen is the father of Tayet, Marnax & Salemer. Greatwest's son is BDS. Majestic & Digger are brothers, & lonnie miller is Digger's son. From the Southern Hemisphere, we have Dacalak & his wife Alyana, & their daughter Ajroxlol. OH! And of course, there's 1 special "family." Spikey is the virtual child of Juma & Vermithrax, & Engessa is Verm's indiscretion from a previous server (we don't talk about his possible mother.)
Speakers - The item prized by Juma above all others.....which provides a great deal of amusement to other members, after she uses all hers to mock idiots on world chat & the members continue to win them....while she doesn't.
Thrump - The sound one makes after being *facepalmed* Originated by (you guessed it) our very own Thrumpymess
Mond - (noun) A part of the female anatomy that changes often and contains both her mind and mood; originated by Thrump, Defined by Vermithrax
WWSD - What Would Sino Do? For those of you who haven't been fortunate enough to chat with Sino, or learn from him...he is an attack god. Listen to him...learn from him. (For the record, Sino is our token psycho Frenchman, who happens to live in Canada)
